住宅外部の開口部であっても内部の間仕切りであってもガラスで境界をわけると、質感が異なって見えます。ガラスはある部分の光りは透過しながら、一定の割合で反射するため、光りがガラスの内側に閉じ込められるようになり、硬質な光りで満たすことができます。また乳白色になるとさらに光りを反射拡散し、光りの輪郭がはっきりしてきます。レーザーカットしたボードにランダムなパターンをいれるとさらに光りのランダムパターンが住宅に生まれます。
